The Bayou Country Cyclists club (BCC) is an organization dedicated to promoting bicycling with an emphasis on advancing bicycle riding as recreation, an alternative mode of transportation and racing in the greater Houma-Thibodaux area through its various cycling activities. The BCC was founded in 1993 as a non-profit corporation and has become a solid recreational club since that time. The club is a member of the League of American Bicyclists (LAB) and the USA Cycling Federation (USACF). The BCC represents a wide range of cyclists, from beginners to seasoned competitive riders. BCC and Green Team members are always available to advise prospective members about training, riding and racing techniques. Club members organize training rides and events with the goal of developing riders, promote cyclists as good citizens of the community where the members live, work and play, for competition (should the rider be interested) and healthy recreation. The club organizes trips to area races, including the MS ride in October and the various rides put on by other clubs throughout the year.  BCC organizes an annual Spring Ride, now in its 20th year and also hosts the 42 mile training ride for MS 150.   We invite you to become a member of this unique
